On Sunday, July 29, 2007, Metropolitan Community Church (MCC) of San Francisco will celebrate diversity by honoring the transgender community in their 11 am and 7 pm services.
At the 11 am service, Dr. Dawnne Woodie, church board member and
TransSpirit Ministry Coordinator, will lead the service. She will preach and consecrate a special communion honoring, blessing and encouraging the transgender community. Aidan Dunn will preside at the 7pm service. Both services will include a special prayer time of blessing and affirmation of those transpersons present.
